 Puerta
Azul boasts a great location. Situated at the southern most part of Barbados
in the Parish of Christchurch.
We are in a residential area on a road called
Joe Louis Blvd. (named after the famous heavyweight champion boxer). The
road itself runs normal to Enterprise Coastal Road, which is a main bus
and taxi route. We are a ten minute walk away from the beautiful, powdery,
white sands of Miami Beach, and just a four minute walk away from the
tranquil and secluded Cotton Beach.
The popular fishing village of Oistins is also
walking distance and is well known by the locals and visitors alike for
the Annual fish festival. Oistins is especially noted for its famous fish
frys where one can taste the mouth-watering, sumptuous, delights of grilled
fresh fish.
The post office, banks, supermarkets and library
are all within walking distance, or if you choose to be more adventurous
and move about at your own pace discovering the sights and sounds of the
Island you can certainly rent a car during your holiday stay at Puerta
Azul. The wonderful restaurants and exciting nightlife are located ten
minutes away by car or bus in the area known as the “Gap”.
Grantley Adams Airport is located fifteen minutes from Puerta Azul Apartments.
